BOUNTYHUNT POLICY · AU-PROHIBITED-PURCHASES-2026-08-24-V2

Prohibited and restricted purchases

BountyHunt is for lawful, ordinary purchases. Our worldwide safety standard can be stricter than local law, and every country may add further restrictions.

Current policyEffective for the current BountyHunt service.
Legal operatorBountyHunt is a product and customer-facing business name operated by A.C.N. 700 220 784 PTY LTD.ABN 77700220784These terms apply to the current BountyHunt service. Market-specific registration and customer disclosures still apply.
01

Never allowed on BountyHunt

The following baseline applies in every country, even where a particular item might otherwise be lawful:

  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, weapons and products primarily designed to injure or incapacitate.
  • Illicit drugs, drug-manufacturing or drug-use equipment, and unlawful controlled substances.
  • Stolen, counterfeit, pirated or illegally traded goods; forged documents and stolen credentials.
  • Human exploitation, trafficking, sexual exploitation, criminal violence and malicious cyber services.
  • Human organs or body parts, prohibited hazardous materials, illegal wildlife products, and goods subject to a product ban or recall.
  • Any other product or service that is unlawful in a relevant country or route.
02

Restricted means off until approved

Age-restricted goods, medicines and medical devices, financial products, gambling, animals, hazardous chemicals and other regulated categories are not admitted to the marketplace through the open Bounty form. A request may be held privately for review, but a restricted category can operate only after BountyHunt approves the exact country, category and service region, including its legal, licensing, merchant, payment and support controls.

03

How requests are checked

  • Bounty details are screened on the server before they can enter the marketplace.
  • A prohibited request is rejected and is not sent to businesses.
  • An uncertain or unapproved request must remain private until an authorised person resolves it.
  • Editing, inviting businesses, publishing offers, releasing contact details, recording purchase completion, approving a Reward and submitting its cashback refund must each re-check the current policy state.
04

Reports, reasons and review

BountyHunt may block a request, preserve a limited safety record, restrict an account, or report information where the law requires it. A customer can ask support to review a mistaken decision. We may give a useful reason without revealing detection methods that would help someone evade the controls.

05

Local law still applies

This policy is a platform rule, not a statement that an unlisted purchase is lawful. Buyers and businesses remain responsible for applicable law, licences, import and export rules, sanctions, product-safety requirements and their own contracts. Live availability is activated market by market; a global BountyHunt front door does not mean every category is available everywhere.
